The CWRS is dedicated to educating the public about the American Civil War, specializing in children's school programs and public re-enactments. Your donation will assist us to bring history alive to children who may otherwise never understand the lessons of the Civil War! Funds are used for educational materials to spark the interest of school children, or perhaps a pound of powder that makes a forever lasting impression when that child sees and hears a cannon roar for the first time. It may be used to make the losses during the war seem more real as our Medical Corps "treat the wounded". Perhaps General Lee or General Grant can be afforded to visit the schools and finally bring the "cause" to light for someone, due to your donation.
